 Achilles fan club!

Hello everyone, for the 28/12/25 your task is to revise unit 1-3 vocabulary using your notes and studying the mistakes you have made on multiple choice exercises so far. We will have a small quiz for unit 1-3 when you return from the holidays so be ready!

For the 31/12/25 i'd like you to read the first two chapters of Frankestein here - have a dictionary or translator at the ready and be sure to keep notes on unknown words that attract your attention. As a reward you should watch the Netflix movie!

For the 04/12/26 Please complete the blue books writing prompts for pages 60-62. Remember to check for spelling mistakes, add advanced vocabulary and grammar you have been looking at lately and keep your writing to the highest standard possible.

"I am really sorry my beloved friend...I will never forget the memories we made together. They were exquisite. Trust me I wouldn't do it if I didn't have to!", I said to them. Then I took out the computer's motherboard, which kept everything about them and the information from all the past years. ALL GONE. Scarcely, I took it out I started tearing up, because I realised I just had lost my best friend. I got angry with everyone, I didn't talk to anyone and I wouldn't leave my room for days. Until I swallowed the pain...It has been a couple of months since the day I last saw Julian, but I still miss them!!

i.                                     12th of November 2020

Right now I am 9 years old and I finally have a best friend, well I've got 3. So today I was sitting alone during gym class and a girl named Thomai came up to me and asked me if I wanted to become a part of their trio.

ii.                                   27th of February 2023

Hi! I am finally 12 years old and I keep thinking if Thomai never asked me I would never become a part of their group, I wouldn't have 3 best friends and all the memories we had would never have happened.

iii.                               19th of December 2026

Hello! I've lately been thinking my first time meeting Olympia, Eliza and Thomai. Highschool teared us apart, we are not a group anymore, the girls don't talk to eachother anymore and I am the only one that still in touch with everyone. I think the sudden fights made us all more serious.

iv.                               20th of March 2045

So I've been an adult for quite some time, but I just can't forget my first meeting with my girlfriends. It was one of my happiest moments of my life and I am amazed how our friendship is still going on. Since the moment I met them it has been a carousel of emotions.

v.                                2nd of June 2071

My grandchildren are around the age I met my best friends and they remind me of us. I still think that all the fights and sleepovers that we had happened for a reason. Everything we went through our childhood made us believe in our friendship and kept it unbreakable until now.
